Welcome to Forget-me-Not
What 'Forget-Me-Not' is:
'Forget-Me-Not' is a UK peer-support community for mums who are experiencing no contact or minimal contact with their child or children.
It is a place for:
- compassion and understanding
- shared lived experience
- gentle conversation and connection
- feeling less alone in something that is often carried silently
This community exists because maternal estrangement is deeply painful and rarely spoken about — and because mums deserve a space where they are not judged, blamed, or dismissed.
What 'Forget-Me-Not' is not:
- a replacement for medical, mental health, or psychological support
- a counselling or therapy service
- a crisis or emergency support service
- a place for diagnosis, treatment, or professional advice
- a space that promises healing, reconciliation, or specific outcomes
The support offered here is peer-based only, grounded in shared experience and mutual respect.
If you are experiencing significant distress, a deterioration in your mental health, or feel unsafe, we strongly encourage you to seek support from a qualified professional or emergency service.
